Phil, Ray and Gary established the Pharmacy group in 2011 after the Christchurch earthquake destroyed their pharmacy on Gloucester Street.
The tough times forced the three to open a series of smaller pharmacies around the Christchurch area, which allowed more people to access medicines and health care when they needed it the most.
The ethos that The Pharmacy group has been built upon is “Quality yet affordable health care in the community”. Good health doesn’t have to cost the earth and the aim of The Pharmacy group is to make medicines and quality vitamins available at a price that everyone can afford.
They have been doing a great job at this in the community serving 4 key areas around Christchurch – Phillipstown, Opawa, Addington and St George’s hospital. Now in 2016 they are wanting to spread this affordable health care even further via a website. Along with making all the unfunded prescription medicines available at a very good price. The Pharmacy is also selling Sanderson vitamins at a very competitive price.
